How Consignment Works at Sistas

2 options for bringing items in for consideration:

  • Option 1: You make an appointment and we’ll look at your items while you wait, you take any items not accepted with you.

  • Option 2: ‘Drop & Go’ at your convenience anytime during normal business hours. Any item not taken in will be donated, no exceptions. Drop & Go’s can take up to 7 days to be checked in.

At the end of the 60 day consignment period both Option 1 & 2 can pick up any unsold items or donate them.

  • Book an appointment please click the button above. All appointments are booked through Calendly, there is no seperate calendar. Please do not call or email the store to book, you will be directed to the website.

Sistas Consignment Rules

  • Timing: Consigned items will stay for 60 days. At the end of 60 days, you can either donate the unsold items or pick them up. If you opt to pick up your unsold items, they will be pulled from the floor on the last day of your consignment period and held out back for 7 days, after 7 days your items will be donated. Sistas does NOT remind you of your end date, so mark your calendar!

  • Payout: Once an item sells, 40% of the selling price goes into your account, you can use or take this money anytime. You can opt for a payout, under $25 is paid to you in cash, and over $25 is paid to you via check. You can also choose to use the payout to purchase items at Sistas. Your money never expires, you will need to come into Sistas to collect any money owed. If you would like your check mailed to you there is a $1 fee. You do not have to call/email to let us know you want your payout, just come into the store.

  • Pricing: Item price is determined by Sistas; however, if you don’t like the price of an item you can suggest a better price.

  • Portal: Once an account is set up all consignors have access to a portal to track your items and check your balance, you cannot get paid on the portal.
